Unreal Engine simulator game slop. I'm not sure why this got so popular, it doesn't seem too different from anything else I've played and it has a pretty basic gameplay loop. Felt too easy in my time playing and the movies were pretty lame since it's all randomly generated. It would be fine enough if you want to turn your brain off and reminisce about the old days of video stores (which I wouldn't know!)

Factory go brrr! Nice artstyle and atmosphere, satisfying gameplay loop, building is fun! The feeling of progression and building up is really neat and I wanna experience more of it!

Pure childhood whimsy if it was a game! So much variety in mechanics, worlds....they were really creative with this. Mario is a bit awkward to control sometimes and the motion controls can be ehh but overall it's still really fun. It also gets surprisingly difficult at points. I'd say the game is at it's best at the early-mid stages; levels are fast but not too easy, there's neat little mechanics to them that you get to experience quickly. The early stages are also so iconic and more nostalgic. The later stages definitely drag a bit with multiple sections and meaner platforming where it's easy to accidentally jump into a black hole. I'd like to finish this game, but I'm not sure when, I felt it dragging a bit as a playthrough and I wasn't enjoying it as much. Still, a great game, Nintendo at their best with some amazing music and sense of wonder all throughout!

A very interesting entry in the Resident Evil series. It has some pain points for sure, but it's trying something new and introduces some interesting lore. No item boxes and controlling two characters are unique mechanics that the series doesn't do again. I will say, it had a lot of potential, and in the times where the characters were actually split up and you had to use them interchangeably, I thought it made for really neat gameplay. I wish they utilized that more, but from what I experienced it's pretty much using both of them to shoot down enemies. I found this to be one of the more unforgiving REs that I've played - items are quite scarce, but there's lots of enemies and they hit hard, while also being kind of tanky. Some of the puzzle solutions were also...kind of dumb and not what I'd expect, so I'd get stuck a lot. Ultimately this game was taking me too long to beat and people on the channel didn't seem to like it, so I had to drop it. It's not too bad of a game though! I still love the RE style.

Resident Evil is back and doing modern games well! This is just as high quality as their early titles. Legitimately scary, fun action sequences, interesting story. The cutscenes and acting are especially quite great too. It does have pretty glarin flaw though. In trying to split up the game with the Grace and Leon sections, I don't think you get enough of either. So it feels kind of half assed. The survival horror in the mansion was peak, and it kept changing things up so you don't get bored. It's a bit predictable by the end, but still fun. I would say also the boss fights felt...too easy and underwhelming. They weren't quite ambitious enough there I feel. But yeah, overall a great experience, looking forward to what they cook up next.

Chilla's Slop is back! I really wanted to like this game. The concept of a fishing horror is pretty cool! And the gameplay was fun at first, I like fishing and a bit of simulator gaming. But the game just got lost in what it wants to be. Horror? There's not enough of it, it feels like it barely tries (the big scary monster is just behind you and you can very easily run past it, doesnt come as a surprise). Fishing game? The mechanics are too jank for that to feel satisfying either. Honestly the worst part is it has an INSANE grinding curve, where you have to catch SO many fish in each area. It's just tiring for this type of game - there's nothing good to look at (because it's still generic UE5 graphics), nor good music, so you're just grinding for the sake of it. I ended up quitting because it was just taking too much time to get to the next areas. It does have an interesting story I guess - fish curse swappin human and fish...but it's not worth it imo.

I didn't get to play this one much unfortunately, but from what I did experience...it really is just a different Minecraft. And I never really liked minecraft that much. It does have some nicer features like more RPG elements, character customization...but still not enough for me to really get into it. Too much freedom for me still, it's hard to find direction...the map is also so huge, but also seems like it wants you to base build at one place, which makes things hard. I think I would play this again maybe in multiplayer but for now it definitely isn't capturing me.

Really fun platformer! I like that it's 3D but still has a 2D feel. The visuals are vibrant and have so much personality...It's fun just seeing the new environments and all the animations. The game IS quite sadistic however...very few saves, harsh requirements with precision timing and platforming required. Even playing with some save states I struggled. Still, it's very satisfying to finally clear a level. Kind of addictive...I think I'll come back to this some day, although my thumbs were really hurting just from the one time I played it!

A pretty fun shooter! The graphics hold up really well, it's fun going to the different locations although I would've liked a bit more variety. The level design is really strong though, you're doing new things often enough that you don't get bored, there's a lot of creative stuff. The guns are pretty fun too, especially the gravity gun., but theyre pretty much the same as from HL1. The story is okay, nothing too groundbreaking but you feel a sense of purpose moving around...although it does feel quite "oh no! we have no go here now" kind of beats over and over. And of course, the ending being a huge cliffhanger. I think the DLC had some more creative things that I liked though. But I also think the game went on a big too long...a lot of sections where you're in the same place for a while. It's not exactly bad but drags a little? I think it's hard for these shooter games to avoid feeling repetitive though. But yeah, overall enjoyed it and I can understand the ojisan kino now! Part 3 when...
